Victor Emanuel Cooke, 95, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on February 23, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1931, in Havana, Cuba to Vicente Cooke and Jacinta (Panton) Cooke. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Avis Marjorie (McKenzie) Cooke, his mother and father, brothers Michael Cooke (Lillie, deceased) and Vincent Cooke (Sania, deceased), and sister, Dorothy (Cooke) Ridgewell (Stan, deceased). Victor is survived by his children Philip M. Cooke, Edgar J. Cooke (Louise) and Debra (Cooke) Vaughan (Ryan, deceased); sister Adelita (Cooke) Hart (Geoffrey, deceased) and brother Tony Cooke (Beverly); his grandchildren Nena Monroe, Logan Monroe, Olivia Cooke and Evie Cooke.
Victor began a career in building materials as a salesman, quickly working his way into an executive office as General Manager at K.I.W. and later at Thermoplastics in Jamaica before relocating his family to Orlando, Florida in 1978, where he spent the majority of his years as a locksmith and safe technician. In his spare time, Victor loved to build with his hands and those things can be seen still standing at his home.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 1:00pm, Chappell Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817. Repast to follow service, details provided separately.
