Arlene transitioned to her heavenly home on November 20, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1939 in Chicago, IL to George and Wanda Ruth. She married Donald M. Rodak in 1956 and in 1970, relocated to Lenexa, KS where they raised their family: Donna, Theresa, Robert (Sandy), Lorra and Lynn (Mark). Arlene and Donald were members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and from their legacy of love came: 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren (Michael, Kristen, Matthew, Julie, Jennifer, Zakery, Nicole, Dustin, Philip (Debbie), Ashley, Sarah, Victoria, Elizabeth, Makenzie, Aydon, Tommy, Jessi, Danielle, Lucas, Ahsoka, Charlotte and Olivia).
Arlene embodied the Spirit of Love and found her highest joy in being present and caring for her family; her grand and great-grandchildren, and pets. She was an incredible cook; along with being a warm and hospitable hostess. Arlene was an avid participant in Bunco for decades and developed many treasured friendships.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Lorra; grandsons, Michael and Zakary; parents, George and Wanda; brother, Ralph and many other family and friends.
May her Spirit join with Jesus, her family in heaven, as well as, in the hearts of her loved ones on Earth. We'll love you always; Mom, Grammy, Gram, Gigi!
A visitation will be Monday, November 29, 2021 from 9:30 AM - 10:10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish - The Stone Chapel, 9130 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS 66215, with Rosary service at 10:10 AM. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
