1994-2011 Ashton Todd Brunmeier, of Overland Park, Ks passed away Dec. 4th, 2011 at his home with family and friends surrounding him. Ashton was a Junior at SM West. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, fishing, golf, and spending time with friends playing Xbox. Ashton was an inspiration to us all throughout his 2 year battle with cancer. He lived life to the fullest and maintained his sense of humor through it all. We want to thank all of the wonderful nurses and doctors at Children's Mercy who cared for him with such compassion and love. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9th, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Overland Park, Kansas. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. at the church on Thursday. Survivors include his parents, Todd and Julie Brunmeier, and sister Morgan Brunmeier of Overland Park, Kansas. Donations can be sent payable to Todd or Julie Brunmeier at P.O. Box 13162 Overland Park, Kansas 66282. Contributions will be dispersed among various organizations that helped us through his illness.
