

Daniel “David” Tucker, 94, of Prairie Village, KS passed away July 6, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. His graveside service will be 2:00pm, Sat., July 15, 2017 at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside Ave, Park City, KS 67219.
David was born Sept. 29th, 1922 in Camden, MO to Daniel H. and Edith Tucker. He was employed by Southwestern Bell until his retirement. He was a part of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard as well as the U.S. Navy during WWII. After his retirement, his favorite hobby was dancing. He met his partner, “Jan”, 20 years ago, and they went dancing every chance they could right up to his 94th birthday.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Tucker; son, Scott Osborn; brother, Vernon Tucker and his parents. He is survived by his partner, Jan Biritz and her 4 children; sister, Pauline Masters; 2 daughters, Suzan Tucker and Sheri Robinson (Chuck); daughter-in-law, Donna Osborn; grandchildren, Adam, Andrea, Scott, Seth, Geoffrey and many great grandchildren.
