Dennis Galiano, 78, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024, surrounded by his family. Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was born on July 30, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, and adopted by Joe and Deannie Galiano. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, Paulette, in 1966, and they had three children: Denny, April, and Chris.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paulette, son Denny (Laura), daughter April (Ahab), and son Christopher. Grandchildren Allison, Elizabeth, and Eli Haddad. Zachary, Emily, and Madison Galiano, and Colin Galiano.
Dennis worked for Hallmark Cards and was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He was a private mail contractor for Suburban Mail and Delivery for 25 years. He enjoyed his grandchildren and complained about the President that everyone else voted for, Joe Biden. Those close to him will miss his laugh, rousing political conversations, generosity, and kindness. His family was of the utmost importance to him, and those memories will be cherished forever.
