To Family of Joanne,
What an awesome pleasure it was the day JoAnne walked into my stained glass class years ago.  My Tuesday morning class at Goodman Hardware Stained Glass Center was a group of retired and "leisurely" ladies, all of whom continued their lessons class after class. They just kept signing up and I kept teaching them everything I knew.
JoAnne stood out immediately - she was a fast learner, one of the best technicians I've ever taught.  She was ready to build a Tiffany lamp before anyone else and just like everything else she did, it was perfection. She laughed a lot and became good friends with my mother who was also in the class.  After six years together, the class and I ended our lessons with a bang - we built the Riverside Hospital quilt in stained glass and it hung in their lobby for many years.  JoAnne was a integral part of that amazing project.  I will never forget her smile, her humor, her focus. She was a pleasure to teach and a treasured friend. Mom and I will pray for you as you say your goodbyes.

To Teri and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed very much.  I still remember like it was yesterday when I would clean her townhouse in Hampton and having wonderful conversations with her after finishing cleaning.  I also recall while cleaning the townhouse how JoAnne and Elmer would be on the couch watching the TV and having lunch.  I miss them both.  Sorry again for your loss.
