Joseph Thomas Jensen, 75, of Overland Park, Kansas, died May 14, 2014. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th Street, Leawood, Kansas. Burial will be in Marinette, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sierra Club or Friends of Chamber Music Kansas City. Joe was born September 9, 1938, in South Bend, Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During his career, Joe worked for Agrion, Diamond Scientific, Miles, and Bayer. Joe was a gourmet cook and hosted multicourse dinner parties. He played the piano and organ and enjoyed chamber music and theatrical performances. Joe was a Eucharistic Minister at Church of the Nativity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest C. Jensen and Dorothy M. Jensen.
