He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Frame and his father, Leroy Smith. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Smith; his daughters, Mary Yoakum and Kindle Wharton-Davis; his brother, Danny Smith and sister, LeighAnn Smith, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Kevin grew in up in Kansas City, spent many years of his life in Florida, before returning to Belton, Missouri. Kevin was a wonderful husband, father, and friend and was loved by so many. His caring nature made him someone that was easy to love. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his toys. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
