

Larry Aalders, 66, passed away on October 30, 2020 after complications from a heart attack. Larry was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on February 7, 1954. He earned the honor of becoming an IBEW Journeyman Wireman and traveled the entire United States throughout his 46 year career. Larry retired in 2018.
Larry leaves a wife, Teri; a son, Derek Aalders and daughter in law, Katie, of Wichita, KS; stepson, Mathew Thomason and Jennifer Bedard, of Kansas City, MO; stepdaughter, Cari Thomason of Liberty, MO. He will also be greatly missed by his granddaughters, Grace Thomason, Payton Cossette and Brooke Thomason along with bonus grandchildren, Dylan Bedard (Morgan and Margot), Ryan Bedard and Jordan Bedard. Larry also leaves behind a sister, Jane St. Clair of Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
Larry loved music, sports, his pets and travel. He especially enjoyed traveling with his wife to London and Italy. Larry was kind, quiet, generous and thoughtful with a wonderful sense of humor. Larry was one of the nicest people anyone could have had the pleasure to know and could enjoy a conversation with anyone of any age on almost any subject.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents “Bud” and “Elaine”. There will be no funeral or visitation. Larry had chosen cremation. Please, in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the charity of your choice, anything to help animals would be appreciated.
