Patricia Ann Glauser

Patricia Ann Clute Glauser, also known as Nana, Pat, and Aunt Patsy, age 84, of Overland Park, KS passed away on June 1, 2021 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 6th at the McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Monday, June 7th at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Overland Park Presbyterian Church, 7810 W. 79th Street, Overland Park, KS 66204.

Pat was born on July 21, 1936 in Kansas City, MO and raised in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Westport High School. Pat was married to John C. Glauser for 50 years before his passing. She still lived in the same house since their marriage 68 years ago. She loved her church and was an active member of Overland Park Presbyterian Church, where she had been a Deacon and then a Head Deacon. Pat loved her children and grandchildren. She was always generous and giving to her family, friends and neighbors. She was a homemaker until her kids were raised and gone from home. She then worked at Valley View United Methodist Church Mother’s Day Out for 17 years. Her enjoyment later in life was going to the Casinos with friends. She found pleasure watching her numerous wind spinners in her yard. Pat also enjoyed “Happy Hour” the last four months, while living at Garden Villas Assisted Living.

Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Joenell Glauser, and her husband, John C. Glauser.

Survivors include her son, John P. Glauser (Patty); daughter, Diana Butler (Mike); five grandchildren, Curtis Glauser (Cody), Travis Glauser (Victoria), Abby Glauser (Taylor), Nick Butler (Shawna), Tyler Butler (Liz); eight great-grandchildren, Rylee, Ashlie, Samantha, Benny, Charlotte, Nathan, Penelope, and Toby; as well as cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
