Patricia Jean Plaster

Patricia J. Plaster, 59, of San Diego, CA passed away October 7, 2013. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00pm at Mcgilley & Hoge Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Project Wildlife, 4343 Morena Blvd, San Diego, CA or Wayside Waiffs, 3901 E 119th St. Kansas City, MO 64137.

Patti was born April 27, 1954 in Marysville, CA. As the daughter of an Air Force Pilot, she lived in many places while growing up. As an adult, she settled in San Diego, CA because of her love for sunshine. She worked for MCRD (Marine Corp Recruiting Depot) and then was employed as an operations manager for several retailers in the fashion industry. Later, Patti worked as an operations manager for the LGBT center in San Diego, CA. For the last several years she worked as a real estate agent for ASCENT. Patti was in a committed relationship with Joan Furlano since 1993, and they were able to be married in California on July 26, 2008

Patti was preceded in death by her father James Ross Watson and her brother, James Ross Watson II. Survivors include her spouse, Joan Furlano, mother, Irene Watson and stepfather John Pembleton; Uncle Frank and Aunt Shirley Cox; sisters; DeeDee (Vic) Arnold; Kathy (Keith) Johnston; nieces: Courtney Johnston, Mary Arnold, Hailey and Hannah Watson.

Patti loved to cook and to entertain family and friends. She loved the ocean and the outdoors. She did not know a stranger and had a genuine love and passion for all animals. Patti had a kind heart and was a true advocate for those in need.
