

Rolla B. Killian, 75, of Overland Park, KS passed away November 9, 2014 in Palm Harbor, FL. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, OP, KS from 4-6pm with a small service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in his honor to the American Heart Association, The Kansas City Zoo or you may bring an unwrapped, unopened toy to the funeral home for Toys for Tots.
Rolla was born to Frank Killian and Rose Thomas Killian on July 19, 1939. He spent six years in the United State Marine Corp before working at Beneficial Finance and Ford Motor Credit and NASB retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Philatelic Society a hobby he dearly enjoyed. He loved his family very much and provided many shared memories at Lake Lotawana. He was happy to have found a peaceful spot in Florida to avoid the cold KC winters. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Jensen; brother-in-law, Thomas G. Willliamson Jr.; father-in-law, Thomas G. Williamson Sr. and mother-in-law, Dorothy J. Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Colleen A. Killian; daughters, Lori A. Lewellen (Chris), KCMO and Dana M. Gephart (Eric), Palm Harbor, FL. Known as Da, he is missed by his beloved grandchildren, Jordan and Avery Stephens, Dylan, Luke, Carly and Ryan Lewellen and Benjamin and Ellie Gephart. As well as many nephews and nieces.
