Albert Franklin Scofield, age 82, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Born in Opp, Alabama, he was a son of Wayland and Belva Scofield. Mr. Scofield proudly served in the United States Navy and retired from General Electric as an Engineer. He is preceded in death by his sister, Jenice Jackson. Mr. Scofield is survived by his wife, Shirley, his children Julie (Chris) Miller, Al (Joni) Scofield, Gina (Paul) Kerbelis, Amy (David) Gipson, and brother, Thomas Scofield (Judy). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Mr. Scofield was an avid golfer and Auburn football fan.
