Annie Louise Braddy

Annie is survived by her sons James Braddy Jr, Patrick (Tracy) Braddy, David Braddy & Jeffery (Dawn) Braddy her seven grandchildren: Dalton Braddy, Taylor Braddy, Jordan Braddy, McKenna Braddy, Kayla Braddy, Hannah Braddy and Nelson Braddy as well as many friends.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Hattie (Smith) Byars and her husband James Fred Braddy who she married June 15th, 1956 and celebrated over 50 years together as husband and wife.

She enjoyed gardening and could make any type of flower bloom beautifully. She loved playing rummy and would usually win and she always had several word-find books nearby. She had many adventures as a military (Air Force) wife, moving along with her family throughout the United States, Turkey and Taiwan. She said that Colorado was one of her favorite places to be stationed due to the beautiful mountains. Later in life she enjoyed traveling with her husband to many destinations including Hawaii and what she referred to as her favorite trip to Alaska. She loved her family and told everyone that she encountered about her four boys and each of her grandchildren that she was extremely proud of.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to friends who have reached out to us as well as the amazing nurses and staff at The Gardens at DePugh Nursing Center in Winter Park and each of the Hospice Care providers that spent time with our family over the past week. You were all a blessing to us during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 13, 2020 at 10:00 am, Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 E Mitchell Hammock Rd, Oviedo FL. Interment and burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr. Winter Park, FL.
