April was a sweet, genuine and warm person and will be missed by her support group.  Heaven has gotten a new Christmas angel.  My deepest sympathy to her family.

April will be missed greatly by her MBC support group in Palo Alto. She was a warm, generous and thoughtful member of the gang. We’ll miss her more than we can say.

Our bunco group started in 2007.  April will be missed dearly.  

April loved the Hurricanes. It was always nice when we could all get together to watch a game together. This is from 12/28/2013. 

A picture pre our wedding. Jason and Lisa plus John and April joined us touring the city of Chicago before our wedding day.  I remember how much fun we had together. We are so blessed to have had April as a friend since college. 

Sharing some pictures I had of our beautiful friend. Mike and I were so happy they were there to celebrate our marriage. 

As we mourn, angels are planning a massive celebration at Heaven's own version of Crystal Palace specifically for their newest addition: April Lynn Dodds. We love you! R.I.P. 

April was so giving and such a blessing to everyone. Without hesitation, she always happily opened her home to her loved ones, even the overwhelmingly large and obnoxious ones, just so long as we are not in league with penguins. It is cliché to say she was more family than friend, but I know all of you definitely feel that way (as I do). My kids only know her as Aunt April. More than that, however, she is the gauge by which I will forever measure friendship. In an age in which you are judged by foolish thoughts and hasty words, April's steadfast devotion counts only the deeper character as essential. It pains not just us, but the entirety of the world to have lost such a deeply loving soul. The world feels more dark already.

Many of our fondest memories include April, John, Anna and Aiden. They always brought their peace, joy and love to this family's generally unstable mental state.

Anna was always a Chip off the old block. A perfect reflection of her wonderful mother.

The Momma-force was always strong in this one. 

About 3 months before their own knot was tied, John and April graciously ventured north for our little wedding in Ohio.  April was so thrilled that it snowed!  While John took all the photos, he conveniently left themselves out of them. Fortunately, my new mother-in-law cornered them while snuggling during a break in the action for this rare gem.
