he was always so sweet in sunday school. every place he went he was kind to others. i can’t imagine ur life without him. i know we will all see him again in day. i pray for u and ur family every night still.  hugs. love u all

irene and sam.  i am sooooo saddened by this news. daniel was such a joy to have in Sunday school class with Brad.  He had such a kind spirit about him. I am so blessed to have taught him for 3 years and to have had the opportunity to have all of u be a part of our Sunday School family. Every time I went out to Orlando to see my cousin Alex, Dan was always there with a smile on his face and so much love to give. I still can’t believe he’s gone, but I know he’s watching over us now. May he rest in paradise. <3

I vaguely remember when you picked me up from my gifted class (or maybe it was BSF?) when I was a kid, and Daniel was in the car with you. I remember enjoying chatting with him, thinking he was an absolutely adorable little kid, and I’m pretty sure he made me laugh. He was super smart. I can’t remember the exact interaction but I will never forget that I specifically enjoyed the interaction with Daniel.

My heart breaks for you, Irene. I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your precious son. I can’t imagine your pain. Gods knows your hurt and His arms are wrapped around you, holding you tight. I pray that you feel His presence and the comfort and peace only He can provide. I am thinking of and praying for you and  your sweet family during this unimaginably difficult time. All my love.

 My heart grieves with you. I remember Daniel in my kindergarten Sunday school class like it was yesterday.   You could tell he had such a kind spirit and warm heart.   We have lost a wonderful person. 


We met Daniel and his wonderful family, when his father Greg coached a youth basketball team at the church our families attended. Daniel became fast friends with my three boys, different ages, but Daniel was able to be a friend to each one individually.  I was so proud of the young man Daniel became. Daniel and my family grew up together. Lived in the same neighborhood, attended  the same schools and went to the same church for many years. Being just a year older I had the experience of not only interacting with him frequently, but being able to watch him grow up. Our love of basketball is what started our friendship when we were on the same team in our church’s children's league where our team was undefeated and won every game by double digits. He was the point guard and I was the center, our pick & roll was a deadly thing back in those days. From there, he was involved in so many of my memories. We volunteered together, played sports together, laughed together, prayed together and so much more. I felt like my world stopped when I found out the news, I really didn’t believe it. A little over a month ago we caught up a bit and he mentioned wanting to visit me the next time he made a trip out to Southern California. This was after not really talking much since graduating high school as I went away for college and then moved to CA shortly after. He was someone that no matter how much time passed, we picked back up right where we left off. He always brightened up the room and he impacted so many people in many different great ways. Rest In Peace Daniel, you are greatly missed and were deeply loved by so many.
