Marie Mumford

Marie Mumford, age 80 of Orlando, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born November 20, 1933 in Wilson County, North Carolina. She is survived by her husband Earl; daughters, Sam Walsh and Debbie Leon (Mark); sister, Doris Garganis; brothers, Oscar, Gene, Edward Lee and Kenneth Edmundson; 5 grandchildren, Kristina, Brett and Tyler Melton and Saira Walsh. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Malia Walsh. There are no words to adequately describe Marie Mumford. She lived her life in the most positive way. She saw the good in everything and encouraged others to do the same. Marie was the love of Earl’s life for 61 wonderful years. Her actions and the incredible example that she showed her children and grandchildren are behaviors that should be emulated by all of us. She was a true role model and a person who possessed qualities we should all try to imitate. She was truly the most beautiful woman inside and out. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the University Carillon United Methodist Church, 1395 Campus View Ct, Oviedo, FL 32765.
