I'm so sorry to read of the loss of Mr. Adicks. He was involved in many activities . He followed the admonition of being taught how to number our days since life is so short. I hope you find solace and tranquility in knowing that we have the privilege of seeing our loved ones again whom we've lost in death.

It was our pleasure to know Dick Adicks. He was a respected leader and a force for good in the world.  His wise leadership and friendliness are missed already. He shared his many talents and his love of literature and poetry with the residents of Florida Presbyterian Homes.

I just learned today of Dick's passing.  I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am.  Dick was a wonderful, kind, caring, gentleman.  I will always remember our wonderful conversations.  I will miss him very much.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Mildred.  I just learned of Dick's passing yesterday.  Please allow me to express my heartfelt condolences.  I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my many hours of conversation with Dick.  He was a an amazing, kind, generous, gentleman.  I was proud to call him a friend.  I am deeply saddened.  

My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Mildred, it was with great sadness that I learned of Dick's passing. He was a wonderful human being. His presence in our lives will always be remembered with happiness. My deepest condolences are with you and Jennifer.

My heartfelt condolences to Mildred and Jennifer on the loss of such a wonderful man. I personally knew him to be a staunch supporter of our Oviedo Historical Society and his wisdom and caring will be missed. I was blessed to know him and know that he is now in his heavenly home with our Lord.

It was truly my pleasure to have known you, May you rest in peace.

Dick and Mildred were neighbors to my parents in Oviedo and they always enjoyed talking with them.  I remember when my father had been badly injured and was in the hospital-Dick came to see him and wish him a speedy recovery.  I will always be thankful that he took the time to come and visit my father-it meant so much to our family.

Bob and I were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing.  Our sympathy goes out to Mildred during her loss.  He will be missed.  Love and prayers, Bob and Sue Brady

For most of my thirty-plus years at UCF, Dick was a  mainstay of our English Dept. and after his retirement a solid citizen of the community, who gave of himself to many. I will greatly miss him as a colleague and friend. Lynn and I pray now for Mildred and send her our love and deepest sympathy.

As one of Dr. Adicks' students in the 80's, I always looked forward to going to his classes. I recently ran into him one day when he was visiting my grandmother, Mabel Wright, who lives in the nursing home section of Florida Presbyterian Homes. It was so nice of him to visit her personally and I was thrilled to see him again. He will be missed by many people. My condolences to his family and friends.
