Bob was born on August 16, 1935 in Hanover, PA, and was the son of the late John W. and Bertha E. Worley.
Bob was a graduate of Eichelberger High School, Class of 1953. Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Army, a chapter of his life he carried with pride. Professionally, he built a career as an Electronics Packaging Engineer, working for General Electric and Lockheed Martin until his retirement in 1998.
His faith was central to who he was, and he lived it out daily through his church, where he devoted many years as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, choir member, and a member of various committees. Bob was a faithful member of Starlight Baptist Church in Winter Springs, FL.
Some of his happiest moments were spent outdoors - camping and traveling to the mountains and beach with his family, making memories that will be treasured forever. He also enjoyed working on cars, a skill that he learned from his father and one that he passed on to his sons.
After retiring, he enjoyed many fun and meaningful trips with his wife and siblings. In recent years, he was a devoted and loving caregiver to his wife of 65 years, Dolores. Despite his own health challenges in the last couple of months, he was concerned only for her happiness and wellbeing as they spent time together at an assisted living facility.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Dolores, and his four children, Kevin L. Worley and his wife, Cindy, of Taylors, SC; Craig A. Worley and his wife, Rozela, of Christmas, FL; Karen W.
