He was born to Italian immigrants in Boston, Mass. on 10-19-1925. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After leaving the Navy he settled in Monterey / P.G. area, married and was employed by the Federal Government at Fort Ord for 32 years.
Ernest is survived by his wife Beverly Schiavoni, children, Carrie Schiavoni, Ernest Schiavoni Jr., James Schiavoni, and Kristie Johnson, grandchildren, Hilarie Campbell , Brendan Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Cherie Schiavoni, Jessica Schiavoni, Joeseph Schiavoni, JulieAnne Johnson, Devynn Johnson and godson Richard Schiavoni (Patty).
Ernest will forever be remembered as a devoted loving husband and father as well as a generous friend and neighbor. He will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
