Carmel - Fernando Rene Canelon, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on April 30, 2014. Fernando is survived by his wife Rosa Elena Canelon, and by his children Carlos Fernando and Daniela ( from a previous marriage ), and by his loving three step daughters, Alexandra, Mariella and Fabiana. Beloved brother of Jenny Kovacs and Jesus Canelon.
Fernando was born and raised in Caracas,Venezuela, and earned his degree in architecture at Oklahoma University. He moved to the Carmel area in 1997, where he enjoyed life through painting, photography, traveling, playing piano and visiting family.
Above all, Fernando always thought of others before himself. He was compassionate, giving, hilarious, and genuine.
He will be greatly missed by all those who were close to him, including all 10 of Alexandra, Mariella and Fabiana's children who he loved as his own grandchildren, and for whom Nando was a very special person in their still rather short lives.
