

Prior to WWII, Frank worked at the naval shipyard, as a deliver service worker, and an income tax consultant. He served in the military from May 1943 – October 1945, in the South Pacific as an Armorer Gunner. He flew 37 combat missions and 10 sorties over the Netherland East Indies, Philippines, New Guinea and China. Frank graduated from Boston University in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was a Licensed Public Accountant under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, worked for inspector general’s office at Hanscom Air Force Base and Founded F & S Accounting in Melrose, MA. He owned a night club, in Cape Code in the 50’s and water companies in Colebrook, NH and Quoddy, ME.
Frank moved to California in 1968 to own and operate water companies in the Fresno-Madera area. He was the Treasurer of California Water Association for many years before retiring in the late 70’s to Pebble Beach after joining Monterey Peninsula Country Club in 1975. He was also a member of PGA West in LaQuinta, CA in 1993. Frank enjoyed the warm winters of the desert and attended St. Angela’s faithfully for nearly 38 years. The great loves of his love included Dovie, his wife, golf, his family and more golf.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Joseph Ferraro and Henrietta (Ferri) Ferraro. He is survived by his wife Dovie (Yancey) Ferraro, brother Joseph (Betty) Ferraro, son Stan (Donna) Ferraro, daughter Claudia (George) Stanley, grandson Matt (Carrie) Ferraro and granddaughter Michele (BJ) Patterson.
