My condolences to Greg's family. I'll always remember him for his generosity and kindness. I reconnected with Greg for the first time since high school at our 25th reunion only to find that he lived just a short drive from my house. Had a wonderful time visiting him at the Ventana Inn.

Greg: You are gone but not forgotten.From raids on the southside vegetable gardens as kids to the beer parties in High School and beyond.

Chunky:  God rest your wonderful soul!  To your family, I send my heart felt sympathy.  The class of "66 is truly special and we all should not forget that.  We are losing too many of our precious classmates.

So many fond memories.  The 1966 high school class was truly special.  Our sympathy to Greg's family.

I owe Greg more than he'll ever know. He introduced me to Big Sur & Ventana. Greg stopped at the Elbow Room for lunch in the summer of 1978 & told me to stop there, when I was in California. We met up numerous times for cocktails & long conversations at Ventana from 1978 into the 1990's. Ventana was never the same after he left. I introduced dozens of people to Big Sur & Ventana, who all said, "it is the most spiritual, beautiful place they have ever seen." Thanks Gregg, for sharing this very special gift with me and those I have now shared it with!

To my big brother Greg; I cannot express in words just how much I will miss you. Though you were far away in miles, you were ~ and always will be ~ close in my heart. I thank you and Joyce again for the wonderful times we all had when we were guests of your's for a week in Big Sur. I'll never forget that trip; the beauty of nature around us, the sight seeing during the day and then all of us meeting back up at your place for the lovely, relaxing dinners with cocktails that you made for us, sitting on your patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean. From the moment we arrived at your home, I understood why you fell in love with the area. I thank you and Joyce for making the long trips "home" to Two Rivers to visit with Mom and Dad and all of us. I know those were special times for them too and they would talk about your visits for a long time afterwards. May you rest in peace Greg, and may Joyce and Rosie Lynn, all of your family and many friends you made throughout your lifetime who loved you and who will miss you dearly, take comfort that you are no longer in pain, and that you are able to walk again with your special friend, Lucky Lee. God bless, until we meet again.
