Joanna Veronica Guidi , born July 28, 1974 in Warsaw, Poland, passed away in Monterey on August 13. She made her home in San Francisco for ten years, then in Napa for three years before moving to Pebble Beach two months ago.
Joanna received her BS Degree in Psychology and her RN Degree from UC Davis. She worked as an operating room nurse at Children’s Hospital in Oakland for over ten years.
Joanna is survived by her husband, Christopher, and their daughter, Olivia; her parents, Antoni and Aleksandra Niedzwiecki; her brother, Richard Niedzwiecki; her husband’s parents, Johanna and George Turner and Roger and Wendy Guidi and her husband's siblings, Jonathan and Kristin Guidi and their daughters, Giovanna and Julia, Nicholas Guidi and Gabrielle Guidi.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 1:00 PM at The Little Chapel by-the-Sea, 65 Asilomar Blvd., Pacific Grove. In lieu of flowers,a scholarship fund in Joanne's name is being established for the children of staff members at Children's Hospital in Oakland.
