

Jose Buenrostro born in La Manzanilla Jalisco Mexico on March 25, 1959; ascended surely to heaven on April 30 2014. He has left behind a legacy of love, strength, justice, & peace in many ways. His professional accomplishments were many from marathon runner, sustainable grower of strawberries and grapes, he was a licensed State of Ca General Building Contractor; and an accomplished Mariachi composer and performer, his most recent & popular album release "El Grito de Un Imigrante. Jose was predeceased by his parents Vincente & Maria. He will remain eternally loved by his wife Bobbi Young, his sons and daughter in-laws -Jose Jr. & Rosie; Michael & Danielle; his grandson Joaquin; the loving mother of his sons-Hilaria, his brothers-sisters & their spouses- Lorenzo & Maria, Guadalupe & Josefina, Anita & Angel, Margarita & Miguel, Catarino, Javier & Maria. He will be loved and remembered by his large family of cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Jose was always grateful for the multitudes of friends and acquaintances nurtured throughout his lifetime that he credited so much of his successes to and who will help to carry on his legacy, dreams, effect policy changes for a more civil and loving world. Jose's life was a beautiful journey and we are honored to have known, loved him and been loved by him. Jose dedicated himself as a soldier in advancing science and medicine in obtaining the cure for cancer. Jose leaves behind a long, diverse legacy of integrity, nurturing and building dreams to better our world-he endured much in that arena. His last requests for all of us-were 4 calls to action; remember the power of one action-one word-if you intend love, completely & deeply forgive someone; do good for a stranger in need, don't wait to create that beauty that you have been thinking about, together we continue to make a difference and honor the life of a truly great man who earned his place in Heaven.
