I just learned of Marion’s passing when my holiday card was returned. She was a great influence for the arts in our community and dearly missed. Marion helped to found the Opera Society and she was a past president of the group. She encouraged me to edit a cookbook for the Opera Society and was a supportive mentor.
I feel blessed to have spent some lovely times with Marion and Clint Gamble.

Dear Marion, 
You left this world Wednesday the 24th of March and now all we have are our memories of you. Since you left I’ve replayed some of, what I feel, were our best moments shared together. Laughter, play, silly banter, and sharing our stories. I learned so much from you and I’ll forever be grateful for the time we had together. I’ll miss your heart, the way you openly and fiercely loved, and the way you never passed an opportunity for witty humor, to name a few. You were clever, humble, graceful, kind, considerate, and a determined being. I miss you, my heart aches at the loss I feel of not being able to see my friend. And it also rejoices in having had the honor to care for you and be apart of a small portion of your life.  I will cherish all of the memories I have withyou, and the very essence that was your soul. There is so much I’ll strive to carry forward in life in your memory. I’ll work to walk with grace, fearlessly love, help others where and when I can, I’ll find humor in everyday and always have gratitude for what and who I have in my life. You were an exceptional being, and I will always have an immense amount of love and respect for you. You will be missed dear friend.
