Mary Barbara Harrop

June 23, 1917 ~ January 11, 2013

Chandler, Arizona ~ Mary B. Harrop, born in Boston, passed away at her home after a month-long illness. She lived in Brockton and Canton, Massachusetts for twenty years. After marrying, she and her husband, Alfred Pollard Harrop, they moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island where they lived for twenty-seven years while raising their family. Mary came to Monterey, California in 1965 where she made her home before moving to Chandler a year ago. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Mary is survived by her children, Alfred Allan Harrop of Monterey, Douglas Harrop of North Situate, Rhode Island and Janice Demayo of Chandler; her wonderful grandchildren, Darren Demayo of Tempe, Arizona, Justin Demayo of Carmel Valley, California, Heather of Michigan and Jill Harrop of Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews including, Helen Deieso, Ida Franco and Gloria Vierra and their families. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in 1989, her daughter, Dorothy Harrop, in 1993 and her sisters, Annie Petti, Julia Tanasio and Phil Deieso, all of Brockton.
