I have  tried to phone  Maxine several  times during the last couple of months and I feared that something had happened to her.  She and I and my  son and daughter-in-law shared several great  trips together
to  Ireland and  Italy  , etc.   We  enjoyed her so much  and have kept in touch by phone and   mail periodically  the years  since then .  I  have  lost my  son   aged  58  to cancer a couple     2 years ago and my  daughter-in-law  and I  have planned  several  times to stop by to see Maxine    when we have been in CA and I wish we had now , of course.  I know   she has been in poor health for a few years,  but we have talked fairly often on the phone and we hoped to see each other again.   However, I send my   deepest  sympathy to  you , her son and daughter and      your         families.  What an interesting lady she was and she and I were roomates on the last trips.
