Rose Silveira

Rose Silveira passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, August 10, 2021 in Pacific Grove, California. Rose Trinta was born March 3, 1925 in Patterson, California. She graduated from Patterson High School. Rose met her future husband, Manuel (Mal), in Pacific Grove and they were married on July 14, 1945.

Rose worked for the Pacific Grove Unified School District for over 30 years. She was a dedicated volunteer for the AT & T Golf Tournament, becoming a member of the 40-Year Volunteer Group. Rose and Mal retired together in 1987 and had the opportunity to travel the United States and abroad. They also visited the Azores, where both of their families were from.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Mal, in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Malvina and husband, Jim, as well as their children, Brian Peterson and wife, Hope (Megan), and daughter, Kendra Hines and husband, Vern (Justin, William, Elly and Jaydon), and her son, Jeff and wife, Carol, and their children, Heather Escobar and husband, Daniel (R.J. and Zachary) and son, Nicholas and wife, Annie (Carter and Samantha Rose).

Rose will be missed by her family and friends. The Silveira family would like to thank Rachel Zepeda, Monci Crosby and Pat Clark for their valued friendship. The family would also like to thank Maria Infante and family for their many years of caring for Rose and Dr. Susan Kubica for her medical care. We also want to thank everyone at Del Monte Assisted Living for all their care and kindness during the past few months.
