Patti Coffin, a native of Salt Lake City, passed away at Westland House. A long-time resident of Pacific Grove, she was a bookkeeper for over forty years.
Patti enjoyed a long and active membership in the Order of Eastern Star. When her children were growing up, she was also very involved in Job’s Daughters, DeMeloy and PTA.
Patti is survived by her children, Craig (Elvira) Coffin of Pacific Grove, Maggi Coffin of Pacific Grove and Martha (Jack) Holder of Fresno; her grandchildren, Kyle (Jessica) Coffin, Kerri (Paul) Compagno, Melissa Findley, Melanie Coffin, Jon (Rebecca) Raymer, Matthew (Kelcey) Raymer, Andrea (Don) Magnuson, Amanda Holder, Stacey (Tanner) Munro, Chelsea (Corde) Spencer, Alexander (Natsu) Coffin and Sean Lee Coffin; twenty-three great-grandchildren and so many great-greats that they’re hard to keep track of and Aunt Dot’s children and grandchildren. She also leaves behind her new best friend, Cat aka Barny. She was predeceased by her husband, Ed Coffin; her son, David Coffin; her parents, Nellie Brimley of Pacific Grove and Wilford Brimley of Salt Lake City and her siblings, Dorothy Todd and Donald Brimley.
Graveside services were held on Monday, May 14 at 11:00 at El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove. A Celebration of Life gathering for Patti took place on Saturday, June 9 at 11:00 at the Pacific Grove Masonic Lodge. Please bring memories, songs or a potluck dish to share.
