William R. Kim, Jr., born at Ft. Ord and a lifelong Monterey Peninsula resident, passed away at Community Hospital. After graduating from Seaside High School in 1988, he worked in the hospitality industry for four years before beginning a twenty-year in the automotive industry. Will loved to fish and he enjoyed playing darts and online video games with his friends and his niece and nephew. A kind, giving person, Will was always willing to help where needed. He is much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Betty J. Kim of Marina; his sisters, Tina (John) of Acworth, Georgia and Sandra (Michael) of Marina and his nieces and nephew, Katlynn, Helene, Rebekah, and JayJay. He was preceded in death by his father, William Kim, in 2009. Funeral services will be held at The Paul Mortuary Chapel on Friday, October 9 at 2:00 PM.
