Alan is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Silverberg; daughter Debbie (Anthony) Adams; grandson, Scott Adams; granddaughters, Stacey (Aaron) Klimchuk and Jaime Silverberg.
Alan was preceded in death by his son Marc David Silverberg.
Alan started at Meat Commodities in 1982 and was the driving force in the company’s growth into the brokerage business through the 80s and 90s. Growing up in the packinghouse industry coupled with his degree in Science from Delaware Valley State University gave him a unique expertise of the industry.
Alan, along with his wife Pat, they enjoyed travelling, skiing, cars, food and wine while also rooting for his hometown football team the Philadelphia Eagles.
Funeral Service for Alan will be held 3pm, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
