David is survived by his son Stephen Blain; his brother Jay Back, his sister Bette Freedman and his brother-in-law Philip Freedman, grandchildren, Stephen Vaught and Alexander Blain, along with his former spouse and lifelong friend, Novis Smith.
David served in the United States Air Force.
Funeral Services and Military Honors for David will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S SR 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
