We are both so sorry to hear of Dennis’ passing. He was a fun person to be around, with both a quick wit and sensitive heart. He and Elliot had recently become closer through their mutual love of baseball, and he became a reliable weekly lunch partner as well.  He will be missed, and we hope that Eileen can find peace going forward, with the knowledge that Dennis made a significant positive impact on those fortunate to have known him. 

I had the privilege of working with Dennis over the past year and am saddened by his passing. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I have known Dennis for a very long time and have had the pleasure of both a professional and personal relationship to enjoy with him. His quick wit, compassion and kindness will be dearly missed. I am truly saddened and taken back by his sudden passing.

I will always remember the times we shared, the laughter and his zest for life.  #44 is engrained in all of us that knew him.

Our deepest condolences to Eileen, and the Licker family.  A pleasure to have met Dennis a few years ago in our retirement community. Dennis was a friend for a short while. My wife and I always was there for Dennis & Eileen with issues with warranty issues with our brand new homes. Dennis called many times and gladly gave him the person to call. Always joked about the cost of the homes and warranty comes into play, too many workmanship issues. We would say who put these homes together. Answer was not us. A real mensch in the sense of the word.  Dennis was the star in 2019 at our Color war event. May Dennis rest in peace. He will always be remembered every day.

I worked with Dennis in the 90’s at Answerthink.  I absolutely loved going to projects he was on.  As a leader he made sure everyone was taken care of and created a great working environment. We used to laugh together about his spreadsheet to track the room numbers he stayed in at the hotel or his obsession for a clean room.  Drives from Albany to Great Barrington for sushi at Bizen will never be forgotten. Even the owner new Dennis by name as soon as he walked in.   
I would like the entire family to know he bragged about his children often and we enjoyed every one of his stories.
I haven’t spoken to Dennis in a few years, but I am going to miss his kind heart and infectious personality that always captured a room.

I had the honor of working with Dennis at Oracle for the past year. There wasn't a time that he didn't make me laugh on our calls. I was always impressed with his ability to work with our clients and keep all his projects so organized. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who he leaves behind. 

Dennis gave strangers a chance.  He met every day at work with a smile and a positive word for others.  He helped me directly on a few jobs.   Dennis was a unique man.  I will be forever thankful to have known him. 

Dennis and I met while working at Hyperion in the mid ‘90s and kept in touch ever since. I’ll  remember  his great smile,  sense of humor.

We were road warriors at Hyperion and he knew how to work all the angles for travel perks. I’ll never forget his mission to visit every Chart House restaurant and get his passport stamped. He finally got all the stamps, but Chart House reneged on the round the world prize, but Dennis negotiated something else. 

My condolences to Dennis’ family and friends. 

I was deeply saddened when I learned of my friends passing.  Although we lost contact over the years after graduating high school, I was fortunate enough to see him again at one of our high school reunions and share some stories and time together.  My biggest memories of him go back to our high school days. We shared quite a few classes together, and I especially remember his laugh and big smile that went along with it.  I was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th high school reunion that would have been in 2020, but that never happened because of the Covid 19 pandemic. My heart goes out to his family and friends, as I can't imagine what they're going through during this stressful time, and can only pray God wipes away their pain and suffering during the days ahead. I do know I'm proud to have been Blessed by having him in my life and calling him my friend.  Thats a treasure I'll always keep in my heart.  I pray Blessings of comfort upon his family and friends.  May you rest in peace and always know how much you were loved by so many. My world was enriched by the time we shared as friends, and for that I'm eternally grateful. Last time I saw my childhood friend, was 2009. We tend to take for granted that everyone will always be around. We would chat from time to time but…… learning of Dennis’s passing via Facebook is kinda rough. But I’m grateful for the knowing ….  
My memories of hanging down the block or going to Roosevelt field,….way way before it became this gaudy mall that it is today. 
Ice skating, slot cars and pizza and just a good old friend. 
I’m sorry my bud that we had lost touch but I’ll always remember the fun we had as kids. 
Funny thing how so many more know you better then I, but selfishly, as a child, you were all mine. Rest and wait for us!!

Dennis.  My first friend in life.  His mom and my dad went to school together in the Bronx and bumped into each other at the Finast grocery store. only to find out we lived at each end of Stratford Drive.  Thru the years we always referred to each other as 2040 or 2092.  Or by phone number, the Licker number being ED3 6687, which to this day I know by heart.  Being in every class together beginning in first grade , summer camp, running wild  in the neighborhood.  Wonderfully fun and carefree days.  Never to be forgotten.

My condolences to Gary and Wayne, Dennis's kids, Eileen.  This is such a tragic and unexpected event.  My heart goes out to you.

I've known Dennis since 1st grade and continued on through 12th.  We reconnected in 1990 when I purchased the home he grew up in from his parents.  Ever since, I have felt a special connection to Dennis and we have been in touch, especially after learning that we had some mutual friends from Florida. I spoke to him on November 1, after I missed a wedding that he expected to see me at. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Dennis was always so warm and    welcoming.   When I saw him not long ago he was so happy to sit and reminisce about the Birchwood days we shared.
May he rest in peace and may his memory bring a smile to all who knew him.  My condolences to the Licker family and Eileen.


Dennis always had a warm smile. One of the most positive people I ever knew. May his passing bring many of us together again - with smiles, health and happiness! He would wish that. 
BTW - if we are not already friends on Facebook - let's be friends now.  I will be saying Yizkor for Dennis, which translates to “remembrance”.  A special Jewish memorial service and prayer to honor the deceased.
