Jerry was always a gentle, kind, compassionate, brilliant and loving soul. He held on to all these attributes for his entire 94+ years. His sense of humor and positive outlook were always with him, even during difficult times.
To know him was to love him. Jerry was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and followed in his parents’ footsteps. His mother and father were dentists. Jerry graduated from dental school at the age of 22. He then served for 2 years in Europe during WWII, obtaining the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army.
He met his soulmate, Joan after returning from Europe. A love-affair of epic proportions ensued and then were married for 68 years.
Jerry will be missed by his wife, Joan; his children, David and Bruce; daughter-in-law’s, Rosemarie and Amy; grandchildren, Daniel & Zoe and everyone who was blessed to have known and loved him.
