Iris Jacobs

Iris Jacobs – Born June 4, 1946 Passed Away February 28, 2022. Iris was born in the Bronx, NY to William Halperin and Martha Feinberg Halperin. Iris became a teacher and spent the first part of her professional life teaching in the Mt. Vernon school system where she taught elementary school. After several years teaching she worked in the corporate offices of Westinghouse, Lanier and Duracell. Most of her career, she was involved training and facilitating with Communispond Inc. & Better Communications Inc. who helped professionals in the corporate world with their verbal and written presentation/communication skills.

She ended her career with being a life coach for various young professionals. Iris prided herself in being a great communicator and educator all her life and helped motivate people to better improve their lives. Her family was most important to her and she is survived by her husband Stan Jacobs, son Joel Shapiro,(Sylvia), daughter Robin Shapiro, step daughters Ruth Malloy(Don) Karen Jacobs(Jack Blumenthal), Jennifer Ferente(Bill) Hillary Jacobs (Aimee Hocking) and 11 grandchildren. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Immediately following the service there will be a Meal of Condolence, to be heled at "La Salle Grand Room" 3400 Masterpiece Way Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
