Irma was born August 25, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Moe and Dora (Solomon) Meldorf. Irma is survived by her two loving children, Mona (Steven) Leventhal of Lake Worth, Fl and Jann Jaffe of New York; her cherished granddaughter Kari and her adored great grandchildren Amanda and Justin. Irma was predeceased by her beloved husband David Jaffe and her loving granddaughter Shari. Burial will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
