Louis Howard Wolfson, 90, passed away at home on May 7, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1935 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Edgar and Gladys (Greenberg) Wolfson. Louis grew up in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School. After high school, he joined the Army, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. After the Army, he attended Drexel Institute of Technology, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by a 36 year career at Pratt & Whitney. As a mechanical genius, Louis was extremely talented with his hands and could fix anything.
Louis was an avid reader and enjoyed many activities including fishing, boating, diving, and traveling the globe. He was a member of the Power Squadron, the Lighthouse Camera Club, and Temple Beth Ahm.
Louis was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all.
Louis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie (Gilbert), daughter Judie (Spencer), daughter Gail (Jim), son Edward (Robyn), and grandchildren Rachel, Hannah, Tamar, Angela, and Christopher.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Monday, May 12, 2025 at Star of David Chapel, 9321 Memorial Park Rd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
