We will always cherish the memories of spending holidays in New City, NY with my Auntie Mickie and Uncle Norman.  My parents loved visiting their place in Otis and doing the Tanglewood thing each summer.  Bye Auntie Mickie, Love Les and the entire Swartz family.

I just learned of Mickie's passing.  Ten years older than I,  Mickie was my dear friend and mentor.   We met many, many years ago when we were both teaching at Evander Childs High School.  She taught me how to survive the NYC education department , and she and Norman guided us in making plans for the future.  We retired to Raleigh, NC at Mickie's suggestion.  It breaks my heart that I didn't get to see or speak to her prior to her passing.

Mickey loved her time in the Berkshires and Tanglewood.  She was a devoted volunteer with her husband Norman for many years.  She was a good friend to many and we will all miss her.

It is difficult to say  goodbye to a special person and very dear friend.
She will be missed and remembered always.
