Michael B. Jacobus, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29th with his family by his side. He was the beloved son of his late father David and survived by his mother, Rita, cherished wife Pam of 50 years, devoted son, Jared, and brother Steven. Michael graduated from Teaneck High School (New Jersey) in 1963 and Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1967. He lived in both Ramsey, New Jersey and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and his beach home in Amagansett. Michael became President of McBride Corporate Real Estate where he worked for 40 years and retired September 18, 2013. In those years, he was responsible for establishing a nationwide corporate real estate network named CORFAC. His friends remember Michael as a renaissance man; always coming up with new business ideas and future plans. He had an infectious sense of humor, a voracious zest for life that included his passion for travel, gourmet cooking, entertaining friends at his home, tennis, the "beach", deep sea fishing, March Madness, NFL fantasy football and weekly card games. He was the quintessential people’s person. In all, he lived his life to the fullest and pushed himself to the limit. Most of all, his love for his wife, Pam and son Jared was his greatest passion. Michael was indeed special and he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. Donations in Michael's memory can be made out to the Myeloma Foundation or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
