It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Holmes Bubbs, beloved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, who passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025 at the age of 75, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 14, 1949 in Batavia, NY, Roy lived a full and meaningful life. He was the son of Frank and Muriel Bubbs.
Roy was known for his kindness, generosity and dedication to family. For all of those that knew Roy, knew his love for gardening, golf and zipping around in his golf cart. But most of all he cherished his time with his family, especially Marilyn, Rachael, Josh, Amy, Gavin and Leo, and was known for his unwavering support and love for those closest to him. His time in Florida was full of life with his new Regency community, lunch with guys, holidays and parties.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Bubbs, son Josh Bubbs and wife Amy and their son’s Gavin and Leo, daughter Rachael Bubbs, son Aaron Bubbs and sister Sue Ann Brockwell and husband John.
A funeral service will be held at IJ Morris at Star of David on March 5, 2025 at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Roy’s honor.
