Allan Craig Hildabridle

Allan Craig Hildabridle passed away on July 22, 2011 in Houston, Texas at the age of 67. He was born on August 25, 1943 in South Bend, Indiana to Claude Hildabridle and Lorraine Jacobs-Hildabridle. Allan spent most of his life in Indiana where he became a 32 degree Mason, a member of Broad Ripple Lodge No. 643 F. & A.M. He has been a resident of the La Porte area since 1994. Allan was a proud veteran, serving his country in the United States Army and for his service he will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery. He was a generous man with a sincere love for his family, friends and country. Allan loved children, and especially enjoyed the special bond he shared with his grandsons, Sean Hildabridle and Marion Ali. Sean and Allan were the best of buddies, and Allan looked forward to the time they spent together each day. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and checking his lotto tickets.

Allan is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 sons, Daniel Hildabridle, Robert Hildabridle, and David Hildabridle; 2 brothers, Aaron Hildabridle and wife Sue, Mike Hildabridle and wife Ronnie; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Allan is also survived by his long-time companion Anna Skele.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., with a private interment to take place in the Houston National Cemetery.
