Together, our sister locations provide families in Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte and the surrounding communities with funeral, cremation and cemetery services in one convenient place.

A funeral home for every family

Reception Room at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany CemeteryGrand View Funeral Home serves families of all cultures, faiths and traditions. With both English- and Spanish-speaking team members, we’re connected to the diversity of our community.

We also believe every service should reflect the individual being remembered, and we work closely with you to honor your loved one’s life story. Whether through cherished customs, meaningful rituals or unique touches, we create funerals and memorials that feel authentic, inclusive and truly personal.

Spaces for every kind of gathering

With indoor and outdoor spaces for services, we accommodate events of every size and style. Our funeral home chapel seats up to 300 guests. Covered pavilions—each with seating for 300—allow you to gather at the cemetery with family and friends. Comfortable visitation rooms and staterooms provide more intimate arrangements.

Beyond the service itself, we know the importance of time spent together. Our reception room is a warm, inviting space for sharing a meal and finding comfort in one another’s company. Whether you prefer light refreshments or a full dinner, our staff takes care of every detail.

A memorial park of comfort and peace

Statue at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany CemeteryGrand View Memorial Park was founded in 1952 on 68 acres at the edge of Deer Park—land with its own place in Texas history, near where the treaty for Texas independence was signed. When our founder first stood on the property and looked across the rolling grounds, he declared, “What a grand view.” The name stuck, and so did the vision: to create a beautiful final resting place.

Today, Grand View Memorial Park is just that. Stately trees shade winding paths; seasonal flowers brighten the landscape; and spaces like our Masonic garden, Bethany Cemetery for Catholics, and quiet meditation estates offer both reflection and belonging.

The veterans garden is a place of tribute year-round, and each Memorial Day and Veterans Day, families and neighbors gather here to remember and reflect. The funeral home and cemetery work closely with every branch of the military to ensure that honors are performed with care. We also participate in the Dignity Memorial® Homeless Veterans Burial Program, because no service member should be laid to rest without recognition and respect.

The cemetery has grown over the decades, but its purpose as a welcoming place where you can remember and return remains the same.

Caring for our friends and neighbors

Reception Room at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany CemeteryWe believe our role goes beyond serving families in times of loss. We’re also here to nurture community connections. We welcome you to join us for gatherings throughout the year: on Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, All Souls’ Day, Christmas and a special occasion of holiday remembrance. These events provide opportunities to honor those who are missed, celebrate traditions and find comfort together.

We’re also proud to support many area organizations as part of our commitment to the Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte communities we call home.

We invite you to visit us and see how we’re different. We’d love to get to know you.
