He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nellie along previous wife Joyce, and sister Carolyn.
He is survived by wife, Gloria; Sister Clara Sue Ray; and children; Weldon, Katherine, Thomas and Paul. Grandchildren; Mark and Jason; and one Great grandson.
Alvin served his country in the United States Army as a Communication Technician for NATO. He was a Harris County Constable Peace Officer and Shore Acres Peace Office. He served as a Alderman for the City of Shore Acres. He was a Grand Worshipful Master of the La Porte, Texas Masonic Lodge #857 and was a Past Worthy Patron of the Order of Eastern Star #683.
He loved motorcycles and rode until he couldn’t anymore. He was a wonderful father and devoted husband.
