Arno Hill, age 84, passed away June 27, 2014 at his home in Pasadena, Texas. He was born December 15, 1929, in Waelder, TX to W.H. (Cap) and Cora Hopkins Hill. He graduated from Harwood High School in 1946. After proudly serving his country in Korea in the early 50’s he returned home where he worked as a welder for Southern Pacific Railroad. He married Gladys Garner on September 3, 1954, in Gonzales, TX. They later moved to Pasadena, TX where he worked for Armco Steel, retiring after 28 years. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church where he was a faithful member and worker for many years. He is preceeded in death by his parents W.H. and Cora Hill, three sisters, Catherine, Dean and Lexie and three brothers Harrell, W.A. (Chic) and Clifton Hill. He is survived by his wife Gladys, and three children, sons Bobby (wife Phyllis) of Mississippi, Robby (wife Pam) of Pasadena, TX and daughter, Carol Schilling (husband Mike) of La Porte, TX. He is also survived by one sister Maureen (husband Gene) of Coppell, TX and brother Don (wife Vencie) of Pasadena, TX. and "Precious", his beloved cat. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, Chris, Rusty, Patrick, Hannah, Michael and Rebecca and 4 Great Grandchildren.
