Bernhard “Ben” Schillings, 70, passed away on June 8, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 19, 1942 in Monschau, Germany to Johan W. and Wilhelmine Theissen Schillings. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ben is survived by his wife of 5 years, Joan Madden-Schillings; sons, Dirk Schneider and Alexander Schillings; daughter, Silka Rode; step-son, Christopher Madden; step-daughter, Valerie Stewart; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and very dear cousins from Germany.
