

He was born on December 6, 1932 in Roscoe, Texas to Randolph and Lydia (Harp) Rayburn. After graduating from Edgewood High School in San Antonio in 1951, he proudly served as Private in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Power Specialist for Western Electric for more than 30 years, followed by Northern Telecom, and was a 1st Degree Mason and member of West University Masonic Lodge # 1292.
Bobby was a kindhearted and generous man who helped many people throughout his lifetime. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, leather crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Elida Rayburn and is preceded in death by both parents, sister Linda Rayburn, and daughter Geneva Alejandro. Surviving children include son, Robert Rayburn and wife, Sherry; son, Andy Rayburn and wife, Crystal; daughter, Lydia Adams and husband, Walt; daughter, Elida Petersen and husband, Larry; son-in-law, Peter Alejandro; Herman Guzman and wife, Sylvia; son Jeffery Wuttke and wife, Kimberly; daughter, Annette Villavicencio and husband Victor. Sisters and their spouses include Jo Anne Kehler and husband, Clifford and Ginger Wurz and husband, William; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4PM to 7 PM on Sunday, July 31st at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas. Services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, August 1st.
