Carole Anderson Crow

Carole Anderson Crow, 76, of Pasadena, TX passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the company of her 2 sons, their wives and her beloved grandson. Carole was brought into this earth on the 27th of September 1941, in Little Rock, AR. She was the first of 4 children born to Richard and Emma Nell Anderson, followed by brothers, David Harold, John Richard and James Stephen.

The Anderson family spent quite a bit of time abroad. Carole began her younger years moving between Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. As a teenager she lived in Peru, Memphis, TN and Panama before settling in Pasadena, TX.

She married John Crow in 1967 and had 2 sons. John Bradford Crow was born in April of 1971 and Stephen Matthew Crow was born in November of 1973. Carole was a loving and devoted mother, sharing a love of reading, music and movies with her children. She was a teacher by trade and also worked in John’s law office, but her primary job was that of a mother and she didn’t limit her love to just her own 2 children. She was known as “Mom” by all of Brad and Matthew’s friends and stayed in touch with as many possible over the years.

Carole was preceded in death by her husband, John Crow; parents, Richard and Emma Nell Anderson; brothers, Steve and David Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Brad Crow and wife Michelle, Matthew Crow and wife Christy; grandchildren, Barrett, Stephen, Jaxon, Spencer, Garrett, Brendan, Asa, Carly, Justin and Kyle; brother, John Anderson and wife Janet; nephews, David Michael Anderson and wife Marisol and Nathanael Anderson; numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505. Carole’s Celebration of Life will follow on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment Grand View Memorial Park.
