Charles “Chuck” “Uncle Bud” Davis, Jr., 70, passed away on October 7, 2013. He was born on September 16, 1943 in Waxahachie, Texas to Charles and Dorothy Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jimbo Davis and father-in-law, Claude J. Hill. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cheryl Kay Davis; son, Scott McHenry and wife Stacey; sisters, Sherwin and husband Jerry Lewis and Jeannie Davis; several grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Hill and wife Ana; sister-in-law, Diane and husband Donny Schnee; brother-in-law, Glen Hill and wife Terri; mother-in-law, Juanita Hill and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
