

Dillard was born on the 25th of December 1937 in Nathan, Arkansas to Dillard Dale Lingo and Bessie Mae McClure Lingo. He moved from Arkansas to Houston in 1942 and graduated from Galena Park High School in 1956. Dillard worked as an electrician at Occidental Chemicals for over 40 years. He found joy in helping others on any projects they might have. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with family and friends and working in his yard. Dillard knew everybody and never met a stranger.
Dillard is survived by his wife Mary Alton Lingo, daughter Terri Stahl, sons Donald Lingo and Michael Lingo, stepdaughter Dana Alton Douglas, stepson Randy Alton, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother Ben Lingo and wife Pat, sister Thedda Handly and husband Woody, and many nieces and nephews.
Dillard’s family would like to thank Nikki Sample and her team for caring for him with such kindness and compassion. A memorial service will be held Saturday the 13th of December at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX at 3:00 in the afternoon.
